Dami Adewunmi is a Nigerian-American visual artist and model. Raised in Maryland, Dami is a self-taught painter and recently graduated with a BFA from Pratt Institute. Their art take inspiration from their experiences in life and the people that surround them, focusing on their sociopolitical stance, race, and a wide range of emotions and memories.

Currently based in Queens, Dami dances at Vanity Gentlemans Club and paints in their Home Studio in Elmont. They have a twin sister. As a model, Dami has worked with brands like Telfar and Denim Tears, shot with Nēva Wireko and Abby Bencie, walked for Women’s History Museum, and has appeared in Office Magazine.
